Dear friends!

As you all know, recently the International Olympic Committee, together with the Government of Japan, agreed on a plan to postpone the Olympic Games for next year due to the threat of the spread of the new COVID-19 virus. Taking this fact into account, the Uzbekistan Swimming Federation, together with the Ministry of Sport and Physical Culture and the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, decided to stop all camps among all water sports for athletes, as well as to follow the quarantine rule and send them home to avoid the risk of catching up coronavirus. These measures will continue until the government of Uzbekistan announces the end of quarantine in the country.

In this regard, the camp of swimmers and synchronized athletes (swimmers in artistic swimming), which were held from 23.03.2020, at the Republican Specialized Boarding School of the Olympic Reserve (RIOZMI) are temporarily suspended.

The Swimming Federation of Uzbekistan, in turn, calls on all citizens to observe safety and hygiene measures, as well as follow quarantine in order to protect themselves and their loved ones.
